Sellers Story:
The main reason for moving to the property was the size and location. The property is spacious both upstairs and down which meant we could move in straight in without the requirement to do significant building work. We also loved that the house was close to lots of amenities including; the station, the memorial park and town. The property also backs onto allotments, so you aren’t overlooked and have a great view over the city.
It is impossible to decide on our favourite room as every room has a purpose but I think the downstairs space is brilliant. The playroom has been great for hours of fun then to close the door at the end of the day, the living room is spacious but cosy to chill in the evenings, the utility room is huge and a great place to get ironing and washing done while being out of the way. The downstairs bathroom I never knew how useful the shower would be. The kitchen is used for everything from cooking, to arts and crafts and now for working from home. The garage has been our gym since we moved in 11 years ago and we use it pretty much everyday.
We have had lots of brilliant memories in the house. It’s been our daughters first home and we have watched her grow up here. She has had lots of lovely parties with her friends over the years. We have spent hours and hours playing, baking, doing arts and crafts and making memories.
The house we valued more than ever during lockdown. The garden we fully utilised throughout the day while the size of the house also meant that we could separate working from home and general life.
We will be sad to leave our daughters first home and the brilliant location but we are excited to begin new memories in a new location.
Location:
The property is located less than 1/ 2 a mile of Coventry City Centre and walking distance to Coventry Train Station which provides direct and regular access to both London and Birmingham with London links within approx 1 hour.
Equally, the surrounding regional road networks are within easy reach due to the close proximity of the A45 to the south.
In walking distance is War Memorial Park. Local schooling includes Styvechale Primary, Finham Park, King Henry VIII (private) schools and Bishop Ullathorne. University of Warwick and Coventry University are also accessible.
