We immediately fell in love with this beautiful regency town house that dates back to 1832. Its prominent situation in the heart of Leamington gives great access to all of the parks, shops, bars and restaurants that Leamington has to offer. The house is full of character with its original fireplaces and also the two beautiful wood burners we installed that make the house beautifully cosy on a cold winters day. The garden area is a real bonus for a house like this and in the summer becomes a beautiful suntrap. The basement apartment is an amazing asset – being able to put friends and family up in a beautifully renovated apartment is great, and we have made it work hard by creating a successful short term holiday let business that has had an amazing occupancy since opening.
In addition the proximity to Warwick, the motorway networks and excellent schools made this a perfect house for our family.

The living room is a stunning family area that is very sociable and enjoys the views out on to Regent Street. In winter, the log burner makes the room beautifully warm and cosy and we have enjoyed many a sociable evening with friends and family.

Christmas was a wonderful time, being able to accommodate family in the apartment and many rooms in the house, whilst enjoying a 14 people for Christmas dinner in the dining room in front of the second wood burner. The house was full but didn’t feel overcrowded and of course the bars and restaurants in Leamington were well used over the festive period.

There is so much to enjoy about the house – our children have had their own ‘floor’ to occupy which they have loved; the basement apartment has been huge fun as we have met so many people coming to enjoy Leamington for short breaks. The close proximity to town means we don’t need to drive as much and the town living experience has been wonderful. If we were slightly nervous about town living to begin with, we can’t recommend it highly enough now!

We will miss this house enormously. We will miss our basement business and the beautiful house and its fabulous location, but new opportunities have presented that means we need to look to move on to another exciting adventure!
