Our favourite room is probably the lounge because although it’s a big room it’s also very cosy for the colder months and we love sitting in there with the fire on.
Getting our dog was one of the most memorable moments in this house – watching him learn how to navigate around all the rooms and learn how he could gain access through any of the back doors and get the same place! We’ve also had lots of parties as we love entertaining. Indoors or outdoors there is lots of space and obviously in the summer we have all the back doors open and it’s wonderful.

Summers in the garden. We love any excuse to use the barbecue and enjoy a wine or G’n’T – the bottom of the garden is a real suntrap in the evenings so we tend to stay there until the sun goes down.
We will miss this house immensely but it’s a big place for 2 people. We would simply like to downsize and possibly move to a village somewhere in the countryside.
